Description and Care Info – These are retired, adult female breeder dubias. They
have started to slow down reproduction, and so have been replaced in our breeder
bins with younger dubias. They are still full of nutrients, however, and are relished
by chickens. These are the biggest, meatiest bugs we offer!
Dubias can easily be kept for weeks or months on a diet of fresh veggies, like
dandelion greens, alfalfa shoots and leaves, carrots, squash, etc. Keep them in a
warm area – but well away from any hungry chickens!
