Description

The adult form of the mealworm, darkling beetles offer a crunchy treat even higher in protein, and lower in fat, than mealworm larvae and pupae. As part of our mealworm breeding program, we regularly replace our breeder beetles with fresh, younger beetles, making the retired breeders available for your happy girls.

These can be stored for several days at room temperature, and fed a diet of fruits and vegetables for nutrition and moisture. They love apple and carrot slices.
